Banda formada em 1999 nos Estados Unidos.A banda começou com uma proposta diferente,ou seja, misturar Metalcore/Post-Hardcore com teclados,sintetizadores e acreditem cartuchos de Gameboy,isso mesmo.A banda faz um som diferente ora misturando um pouco de peso,agressividade e berros com músiquinhas em 8-Bits e o resultado não poderia ser outro,curtir um som de qualidade e geral um momento nostálgico chegando a relembrar os bons tempos do Gameboy e Nintendinho, ou melhor a época de ouro dos 8-Bits.Lançaram em 2003 seu primeiro álbum R.Borlax e que apresentou essa proposta que até então foi algo novo,inovador e que agradou muita gente.O segundo álbum foi The Mechanical Hand de 2005 e seguiu na mesma linha que o primeiro e logo em 2006 veio Secret Rhythms Of The Universe que também foi um ótimo álbum mas com uma sonoridade um pouco mais ''crua'' do que o natural.No ano seguinte foi a vez do fodástico A Natural Death que apresentou uma grande evolução em relação ao álbum anterior e além disso ajudou a banda a ganhar muitos fãs ao redor do mundo e ao crescimento desse novo estilo o ''Nintendocore''.Em 2009 foi lançado a obra prima deles Desperate Living e mais uma vez,eles surpreenderam nessa incrível mistura que deu muito certo por sinal.A banda é composta por Nathan Winneke (vocais),Chris Prophet (bateria)David Isen (guitarra),Dashiell "Dash" Arkenstone (baixo) e Erik Engstrom (teclado). Vale a pena conferir sem preconceito,pra quem curte Metalcore/Post-Hc vale a pena e se é da geração 8-Bit vale mais a pena ainda!
